Beekeeping

We try to pass on as much knowledge as possible to our students in practical ways, as we believe that this way of imparting knowledge is more effective.

We organize lectures and workshops for students on current topics as part of lectures and exercises.

This time, on the subject of cultivation and use of beneficial organisms, we have prepared a workshop on the topic of beekeeping, which will include a presentation:
- bees (its importance, life cycle, habitat, its role in the ecosystem as such, bee species),
- beekeeping as an agricultural sector and related issues,
- bee diseases and what threatens it most,
- visit to the apiary and practical demonstrations and laboratory exercises;
