The COVID19 pandemic forced educational providers and governments into knee-jerk reactions to find alternative ways to continue education while maintaining social distance.
The immediate option was to turn to online education, or rather transform existing classroom-based classes into online equivalents.
A lot of resources were put into getting the right platforms for delivery, creating online lessons, and training all stakeholders for the new reality.
Priority was given to key stakeholders such as students and teachers, but school management was often an afterthought.
Now that the dust has settled a little, we can look at how schools cope as a whole, and what management should be focusing on in terms of digitalising their education

La pandemia di COVID19 ha costretto i fornitori di istruzione e i governi a reazioni istintive per trovare modi alternativi per continuare l'istruzione mantenendo la distanza sociale.
L'opzione immediata è stata quella di rivolgersi all'istruzione online, o piuttosto di trasformare le classi esistenti in aula in equivalenti online.
Molte risorse sono state impiegate per ottenere le piattaforme giuste per la consegna, per creare lezioni online e per formare tutte le parti interessate alla nuova realtà.
La priorità è stata data alle parti interessate chiave come gli studenti e gli insegnanti, ma la gestione della scuola è stata spesso un ripensamento.
Ora che la polvere si è un po' depositata, possiamo guardare a come le scuole se la cavano nel loro complesso, e su cosa dovrebbe concentrarsi la gestione in termini di digitalizzazione dell'istruzione
